About Founder

The Strings & Chords Academy of Music is conceptualized and founded by Preeti Nimkar-Joshi, a young singing talent from Thane. A gifted singer, Preeti has pursued music since her early childhood years.

A few highlights about Preeti:

Preeti Joshi holds a MASTERS DEGREE [M.A] in Classical Music from SNDT University, Mumbai
She is also a SANGEET VISHARAD in Classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya
She has earned Central Government’s MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP for 21 years.
She has completed 8th Grade of Trinity School of London as a Western Vocalist
She was felicitated by Arun Date Academy as a ‘Best Female Singer’
As a singer and anchor, she did over 200 live Episodes on music for Saam Tv’s musical quiz show.
She has sung episode songs for serials like phulpakharu (zee yuva), radha hi bawari (colours)
She has also performed as guest singer for the musical show ‘Zing Zing zingaat’ on zee Marathi. She was also a special invitee to participate in "Aaj Kaay Special" show on colors Marathi channel.
Delivered 150+ live musical shows with well-known music directors Kalyanji-Anandaji and Anilji Mohile in major cities across India
She has shared stage with legendary singers like, Sureshji Wadkar, Anupji jalota, Avadhoot Gupte, Hrishikesh Ranade, Uttraji Kelkar, Sairam iyer and many more
She has recording experience with well-known Music Directors like Chinar-Mahesh, Saleel Kulkarni, Kaushal Inamdar, Vishal-Jagdish, Vinay Rajwade and many more
She has recorded many Rhymes and Songs for ‘Pebbles’ Company in different languages.
